Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead on the shop floor, develop the team, and ensure fast, friendly service while maintaining safety and quality. You will step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused and delivering excellent customer experiences.

Paid hands-on training is provided to teach the Take 5 way, and automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment delivering consistent and exceptional service.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and help the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Model fast, friendly customer service, respond to customer needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments and support shop communication and follow-up.
