Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and delivering a fast, friendly customer experience.

You'll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to Take 5 standards. We provide paid hands-on training to teach the technical skills and service standards; automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months' experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and provide feedback.
• Reliable transportation to the work location.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Lead, coach and mentor team members on the shop floor.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while following safety standards.
• Support inventory counts, opening/closing procedures, and reporting.
