Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and fast, friendly customer experience.

You'll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while keeping the shop safe, efficient, and running smoothly. We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the technical skills and service standards needed to succeed the Take 5 way.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment delivering consistent and exceptional customer service experience for every customer.
• Minimum 6 months' experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Initiative, accountability, and follow-through on responsibilities.
• The ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• The ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members on busy days.
