Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead on the shop floor, support the Shop Manager with daily operations, and ensure fast, friendly customer experiences. You will step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while keeping the shop safe and efficient.

We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the technical skills and service standards needed to succeed in the Take 5 way. Automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction and feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate workflow and help the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service while acting as Manager on Duty.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and respond to customer needs professionally.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and take on additional leadership responsibilities when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Train new team members with real-time coaching and feedback.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and shop reporting.
