Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and a quick, friendly customer experience.

You may step in as Manager on Duty and help maintain safety and efficiency while upholding Take 5 standards. Automotive experience is valued but not required; we provide paid, hands-on training to teach the Take 5 way and foster internal growth toward leadership roles across

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.
• Ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, coordinating workflow and guiding the team.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Train new team members, provide coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory counts.
