Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and fast, friendly customer experience. You'll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while keeping the shop safe and efficient.

We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the Take 5 way. Automotive experience is valued, but not required; strong communication and leadership help you grow

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months' experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete our Certified Technician training.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and per procedures.
• Support shop performance with leadership and process improvements.
• Train new team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
