Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead on the shop floor, support the Shop Manager, and deliver fast, friendly service. You’ll help supervise daily operations, coach team members, and step in as Manager on Duty when needed to keep the shop safe and efficient.

We provide paid hands-on training, value automotive experience but not required, and offer competitive pay with weekly bonus opportunities plus benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and guiding the team.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and safely while following procedures.
• Train new team members with coaching and recognition of good performance.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and support inventory counts.
• Assist with shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
