Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor and support the Shop Manager with daily operations and customer experience.

You will step in as Manager on Duty when needed, help drive team development, and ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality service. Paid on‑the‑job training and clear growth paths are offered, with automotive experience valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring a safe, efficient, high‑quality service.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing procedures and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory, reporting, and shop communications.
