Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager who can lead daily operations, coach a fast-paced team, and ensure a safe, efficient, customer-friendly experience on the shop floor.

You will assist the Shop Manager, step in as Manager on Duty when needed, and mentor new hires while upholding Take 5 service standards. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with paid training and clear career growth paths.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty by coordinating workflow and leading the team.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
