Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in Milwaukee to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support daily operations, mentor teammates, and step in as Manager on Duty to keep services safe, efficient, and customer-focused.

We provide paid training, growth opportunities, and a clear path from technician roles to leadership. Automotive experience is valued but not required, and competitive pay with bonus opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to following safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, coordinating workflow.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns.
• Ensure services are completed safely and to standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
