Take 5 Oil Change in Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, staff development, and delivering a quick, friendly oil change experience to customers.

This role emphasizes leadership, training, opening/closing procedures, inventory, and safety. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with paid training and clear growth paths.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• At least 6 months of experience leading or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication, coaching, and feedback skills.
• Initiative, accountability, and follow-through on responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and respond to customer needs.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and consistently with company standards.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and daily inventory counts.
• Provide real-time coaching and training to new team members.
