Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, develop the team, and ensure a quick, friendly customer experience.

You may step in as Manager on Duty, maintaining safety, efficiency, and service quality. Training is provided to teach Take 5 standards, and automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills to provide direction and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations, team development and customer experience.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring safety, efficiency and quality service.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities and handle opening/closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and shop communications and follow-up.
