Job summary

WKS Krispy Kreme, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily shop operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, product quality, and brand standards.

You will help lead and develop team members, manage shifts, monitor inventory, and uphold food safety while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced Krispy Kreme environment.

This role requires flexible schedules, strong leadership, and a commitment to profitability and excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years of restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food service supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications.
• Experience with cash handling, inventory management, and scheduling preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
• Reliable transportation and ability to support nearby shop locations as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training of team members.
• Lead shift coverage and provide coaching to hourly staff.
• Oversee daily shop operations including retail, production, sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and operating procedures.
• Deliver friendly, efficient guest service and resolve concerns.
• Manage labor, costs, waste, and inventory controls.
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and safe shop environment.
• Support inventory counts and product ordering.
