Job summary

Morgan Properties seeks an Assistant Service Manager to lead the maintenance team at our large Texas community. You will diagnose and repair issues, mentor staff, and manage on-call coverage to handle snow, ice, and emergencies.

The role requires driving, a valid license, and HVAC or related certifications when possible. Benefits include medical options, 401(k) matching, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• 1-year certificate, 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and mentor the maintenance team to repairs.
• Provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related areas.
• Establish and manage 24-hour on-call schedule for emergencies.
• Organize inventory of maintenance materials.
• Set on-call, preventive, make-ready, and work order schedules.
• Inspect community buildings and vacant units.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.
