Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking an experienced Senior Service Technician to lead on-site maintenance across our communities. This full-time role requires taking ownership, mentoring staff, and delivering timely repairs to meet company standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate or 2–4+ years of related experience, or equivalent education.
• Ability to lead, work fast, and operate without constant supervision.
• Strong sense of responsibility and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and completing repairs.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances.
• Be accountable for a 24-hour on-call schedule, including emergencies.
• Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials.
• Establish and drive schedules – on-call coverage, preventive maintenance, make-readies, and daily work orders.
• Conduct regular inspections of community buildings and vacant units.
• Execute tasks assigned by the Service Manager with urgency and accountability.
