Job summary

Land Rover Santa Monica, part of the Sonic Automotive family, seeks an experienced Assistant Service Manager to lead the service team and uphold exceptional customer satisfaction. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate advisors and technicians, and drive performance to meet departmental goals.

This full-time role requires 3–5 years in service management, a solid understanding of automotive repair processes, and proficiency with dealership software.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Service Manager in automotive dealerships.
• Comprehensive understanding of automotive service repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency with dealership management software and other computer applications.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage service team to maintain performance and customer service.
• Develop and implement service department processes to improve efficiency.
• Ensure timely completion of service documentation including repair orders.
• Monitor KPIs to drive improvement and profitability.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Oversee scheduling, labor management, and budgets.
