Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is hiring an Assistant Service Center Manager in Yakima, WA. You will support the Service Center Manager, lead a high-performance team, and ensure top-notch guest service while performing oil changes and maintenance tasks.

This on-site role requires coaching, training, and supervising hourly staff, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer loyalty. Weekly pay is provided, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience required (coaching, training, and supervising a team)
• Customer service mindset and demonstrated ability to build loyalty while following company procedures
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and history of making sound judgements under pressure
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance, trends, and identify areas for improvement
• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability likely, but no late nights or holidays)
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services, educate guests on vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure that recommended services are reviewed
• Oversee daily operations of the service center and train new team members
• Build trust and win repeat customers by ensuring excellent customer service through Valvoline’s process
• Develop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules for employees and manage schedule conflicts
• Assist with inventory process and store audits (Safety, performance, culture)
• Open and close the service center following safety and security protocols
