Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager in Greenville, MI. You will support the Service Center Manager, lead hourly staff, and ensure the service experience is fast, friendly, and safe for guests.

You will oversee daily operations, schedule staff, and train teammates to deliver high-quality maintenance services while upholding company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience (coaching, training, and supervising a team).
• Customer service mindset and ability to build loyalty while following procedures.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with sound judgments under pressure.
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance, trends, and identify areas for improvement.
• Schedule flexibility (weekends likely).
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and other maintenance services, educate guests on vehicle care, and ensure services are reviewed.
• Supervise daily service center operations and train new team members.
• Build trust with customers by delivering excellent service through Valvoline’s process.
• Develop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules, ensuring proper coverage and labor law compliance.
• Assist with inventory, store audits, and maintaining a clean, safe service center.
• Open/close the service center following safety and security protocols.
• Lead and train the team to support their development.
