Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is hiring an Assistant Service Center Manager to lead a high‑performance team, perform oil changes and educate guests on vehicle maintenance while coaching hourly staff.

You will open/close the center, develop weekly schedules, monitor safety and audits, and ensure policies are followed. This role emphasizes customer service, training, and developing future managers in a fast-paced, guest‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience required (coaching, training, and supervising a team)
• Customer service mindset and demonstrated ability to build loyalty while following company procedures
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and history of making sound judgements under pressure
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance, trends, and identify areas for improvement
• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise hourly employees and ensure policies are executed consistently
• Perform oil changes and educate guests on vehicle maintenance requirements
• Develop and maintain efficient weekly work schedules for employees
