Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is seeking an Assistant Service Center Manager in Hastings, MN. You will be the right hand of the Service Center Manager, leading a high-performance team, performing oil changes, and ensuring top-notch guest service.

You will train hourly staff, supervise daily operations, and help maintain safety and efficiency. This role offers growth toward a Service Center Manager position with strong benefits and a team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year supervisory experience in retail or service.
• Customer service mindset and ability to build loyalty while following procedures.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with sound judgments under pressure.
• Experience using KPI data to monitor performance and identify improvements.
• Schedule flexibility; weekend availability likely, with no late-night work or holidays.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and maintenance services; educate guests on vehicle care.
• Supervise daily service-center operations and train new team members.
• Build loyalty by delivering fast, friendly guest service.
• Develop weekly work schedules ensuring optimal coverage and compliance with labor laws.
• Assist with inventory and ordering to maintain product levels.
• Support safety audits and maintain a clean, secure service center.
• Open and close the service center following safety protocols.
• Lead and coach the team to develop skills.
