Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Blaine, MN is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and drive sales and guest satisfaction. You will guide staff, ensure quality food preparation, and uphold company policies and standards.

This role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service, a high school diploma, strong communication, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; you'll participate in training and development

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory experience in food service.
• High school diploma; some college preferred.
• Must effectively communicate with employees, guests and vendors.
• Must coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning administration and operations manpower.
• Responsible for achieving plan profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Accountable for proper handling of cash, credit card information, gift cards and all payments.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and new hire orientation.
• Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework.
• Achieve and maintain ServSafe certification.
• Perform and assist in all restaurant positions as needed.
• Ensure menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented to standards.
• Monitor food temperatures to reduce foodborne illness risk.
• Schedule and staff to meet productivity and service standards.
• Manage facility and equipment with safety and sanitation adherence.
• Maintain inventory and proper ordering efficiency.
• Identify and correct system breakdowns to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Prepare financial data and reviews, including payroll and expenses.
• Attend team meetings and present to peers and management.
