Job summary

Raising Cane’s is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Leader in Marion, IL to support the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations and uphold Raising Cane’s standards and culture. The role involves leading a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring customer service excellence and adherence to food safety, while supervising hourly crewmembers and managing payroll, onboarding, and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience, high school diploma or equivalent, valid

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing.
• Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
• Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action to solve problems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and able to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates all hourly, non-management crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status change and payroll process for all hourly crewmembers.
• Creates crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manages the performance of all hourly crewmembers (development, coaching, documentation).
• Acts as manager on duty and opens and closes the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
