Job summary

Raising Cane’s is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support the Restaurant Leader in daily operations and uphold Cane’s standards and culture. The role covers staffing, onboarding, payroll, training, shift leadership, and cash handling in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and travel as needed
• Experience in restaurant or retail management is preferred

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates all hourly, non-management crewmembers
• Owns onboarding, status changes and payroll for hourly staff
• Creates work and training schedules for crewmembers
• Manages performance including coaching and documentation
• Acts as manager on duty and opens/closes the restaurant
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability
