Job summary

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Leader in Chicago to support the Restaurant Leader in daily operations and uphold Cane’s standards and culture.

The role requires 3+ years in restaurant/retail management, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll manage onboarding, payroll for hourly staff, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates all hourly, non-management crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status changes and payroll for hourly crewmembers.
• Creates crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manages performance of hourly crewmembers (coaching, documentation).
• Acts as manager on duty; opens and closes the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
