Job summary

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Leader in Champaign, IL to support daily restaurant operations and uphold our standards and culture. This role involves a fast-paced kitchen environment and interaction with guests.

You will manage onboarding, scheduling, coaching, and performance for hourly crewmembers, act as manager on duty, handle cash, and ensure exceptional customer service. Training incentives and weekly pay are highlighted in the benefits.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing.
• Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
• Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create plans and convert plans into action to solve problems.
• Proficient in technology systems including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends; travel as needed for work-related functions and training.
• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• New restaurant opening experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates all hourly, non-management crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status changes and payroll for all hourly crewmembers.
• Creates crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manages performance of hourly crewmembers (coaching, documentation and development).
• Acts as manager on duty and opens/closes the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
• Enforces company policies and standards and ensures safety.
• Provides exemplary customer service and supports shift execution.
• Ensures cleanliness and good working order of the facility.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
