Job summary

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations and uphold Raising Cane's standards and culture. The role involves managing a fast-paced kitchen environment, customer interaction, and ensuring safety and quality in all restaurant activities.

The position requires 3+ years of restaurant or retail management, high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to travel for training.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to analyze problems, set goals, and implement plans
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new systems quickly
• Able to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
• New restaurant opening experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)

Responsibilities

• Owns onboarding, status changes and payroll for hourly crewmembers
• Hires and terminates hourly non-management staff
• Creates crew work and training schedules
• Manages performance through coaching and documentation
• Acts as manager on duty and opens/closes the restaurant
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability
• Enforces policies and standards
• Executes shift management meetings and safety standards
• Uses logs to support shift execution and corrective actions
• Delivers exemplary customer service
• Uses rewards and recognition programs for crew
• Authorizes manager-approved functions (discounts, promotions, clock overrides)
• Ensures restaurant cleanliness and equipment in good order
• Completes other duties as assigned
