Job summary

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Leader in New York to support the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations and uphold Raising Cane’s standards and culture across all areas of restaurant operations.

You will hire and onboard hourly crewmembers, create schedules, coach performance, manage cash handling, and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly from opening to closing. The role requires 3+ years in restaurant management and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with analytical abilities.
• Restaurant or retail management experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Restaurant Leader supports the Restaurant Leader in day-to-day operations and upholds Raising Cane’s standards and culture.
• Roles include hiring and onboarding hourly crewmembers, onboarding, status changes and payroll for hourly staff.
• Create crewmember work and training schedules and manage performance.
• Open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling and ensure accountability.
• Enforce policies, conduct shift meetings and ensure cleanliness and safe operations.
