Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager. You will lead by example, train and coach staff, and ensure brand standards and exceptional customer experiences.

The role includes managing labor, cash controls and inventory, while driving profitability and maintaining high food safety standards. Expect a 50-hour work week with growth opportunities within Taco Bell.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and reviewing financial reports.
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources.
• Champion Taco Bell's culture and values, promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging in the restaurant.
• Lead efforts in individual and team recognition, collaboration, and motivation.
• Identify and recruit exceptional talent, supporting the GM in the hiring process.
• Possess strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action, and motivating and training employees.
• Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of daily operations in the GM's absence.
• Support the GM by upholding brand standards and inspiring the team.
• Lead by example: training, coaching, and recognizing staff.
• Oversee shift responsibilities and food safety standards.
• Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Team Members.
• Manage cash, security procedures, inventory, and labor to support profits.
• Review financial reports and act to optimize performance.
