Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to motivate Leasing Consultants, analyze market information, and prepare for advancement to Property Manager.

The role focuses on rent collection, lease enforcement, application review, move-in auditing, and resident relations, with budgeting and reporting duties. Weekend work may be required, and the team emphasizes teamwork and guest services.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in property management preferred.
• High school diploma required; college preferred in business or property mgmt.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and ensure revenue data is posted in the accounting system.
• File evictions when applicable and follow local laws.
• Issue lease violations and ensure community guidelines are met.
• Review and approve applications with proof of income.
• Audit move-ins and upload necessary leasing documents.
• Ensure current and future billing is correct for residents.
• Complete monthly reports per company guidelines.
• Assist with budgeting and coding and uploading bills.
• Troubleshoot and resolve resident situations with the PM.
• Assist with leasing and take tours.
• Handle escalated service requests with the team.
• Work with PM to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Host resident functions and maximize renewals.
• May need to work one weekend per month.
