Job summary

ZRS Management is hiring an Assistant Property Manager to motivate Leasing Consultants, manage leasing tasks and collect rents. The role reports to the Property Manager and supports budgeting, reporting, and resident relations to ensure occupancy targets are met.

You will review applications, verify income, file evictions when needed, and coordinate with the property team to maintain community standards. Some weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in property management or real estate preferred
• Strong computer, verbal, math, and reasoning skills
• Demonstrated negotiating and sales abilities
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Efficient time management and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and other Office products
• Familiarity with property management software (Onesite, Yardi, RealPage, etc.)
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently or in a team
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Motivate Leasing Consultants and support leasing tasks
• Collect rent and ensure revenue data is posted in accounting system
• File evictions when applicable and follow local laws
• Review and approve applications with proof of income
• Audit move-ins and ensure documents and payments are complete
• Maintain accurate billing and budgeting records
• Prepare monthly reports per company guidelines
• Assist with hosting resident events and renewals
• Work weekends one month per schedule
• Escalate service requests as needed
• Maintain property occupancy and leasing goals
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork
