Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support leasing consultants, manage rent collection and verify applications. The role involves auditing move-ins, maintaining billing accuracy, and assisting with monthly reporting.

The candidate will coordinate with the Property Manager to meet occupancy and budget goals and may work one weekend per month. The position offers full-time hours and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, housing discounts, paid holidays

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1+ year experience in property management or real estate preferred.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary studies in business or property management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent in a timely manner and post revenue data.
• File evictions when applicable and stay informed of local laws and policies.
• Issue lease violations and coordinate with the property manager to ensure guidelines.
• Review and approve applications; verify income and qualifications.
• Audit move-ins and ensure payments; obtain and upload leasing documents.
• Ensure residents’ current and future billing is accurate.
• Prepare monthly reports per company guidelines.
• Assist with budgeting, coding and uploading bills for approval.
• Troubleshoot resident issues and escalate to property manager as needed.
• Assist with leasing and property tours.
• Handle escalated service requests with the team to meet CS standards.
• Support property manager to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Assist with resident events and renewals.
• May require one weekend per month.
