Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support leasing teams, process applications, and ensure timely rent collection. You will assist with move-ins, billing, and budget tasks while maintaining customer service standards.

Role requires strong communication, knowledge of property management systems, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Growth path toward Property Manager is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• 1+ experience in property management or real estate preferred.
• High school diploma a must, post-secondary preferred in business or property management.

Responsibilities

• Collect rent in a timely manner and ensure revenue data is posted correctly.
• File evictions when applicable and be informed of local laws and policies.
• Issue lease violations when necessary and work with the property manager to ensure guidelines are met.
• Review and approve applications and confirm proof of income and qualifications.
• Audit move-ins and ensure all monies are paid and documents uploaded.
• Ensure residents' current and future scheduled billing is correct.
• Prepare monthly reports per company guidelines.
• Assist in budgeting, coding and bill uploads for approval.
• Troubleshoot and resolve resident issues before escalation.
• Assist with leasing and conduct tours as needed.
• Handle escalated service requests with the team and maintain service standards.
• Work with the property manager to meet occupancy and leasing goals.
• Help host resident functions and support renewals.
• May require one weekend per month.
