MWH Constructors in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to lead and support wastewater treatment plant construction projects. You will work closely with PMs, site superintendents, and the contracts team to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes procurement, change management, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, quality and safety. On-site collaboration and a strong engineering or construction management background are required to ensure safe, compliant,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 4+ years in project engineering, site superintendent or trade package management.
• Familiarity with contract scoping, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to Trade Package PMs and Site Superintendents.
• Support procurement and contracts team in trade/equipment procurement documents.
• Review change orders and assess cost estimates; manage time and materials tickets.
• Support scheduling with trade contractors and schedule team.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and As-Built drawings with Project Engineering.
• Track issues and drive resolution to maintain progress.
• Ensure quality and safety requirements are met per contract.
• Ensure site safety through training, orientations and guidelines.
