Job summary

MWH Constructors seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support engineering, coordination and construction of civil, architectural and structural packages on a large wastewater treatment plant project in Seattle, WA. You will report to the Senior PM and help manage procurement, change control, quality and safety to ensure work meets contract and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project engineering, site supervision, or trade package management in heavy civil.
• Familiarity with reading contract drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Trade Package Project Managers and Site Superintendents.
• Support procurement in development of trade and equipment procurement documents.
• Coordinate change management and verify cost estimates for work.
• Assist in scheduling and weekly progress updates with trade contractors and schedule team.
• Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, and As-Built drawings with Project Engineering.
• Attend routine meetings and drive resolution of critical issues affecting progress.
• Ensure quality activities meet contract requirements with Program Quality team.
• Maintain safety on site and ensure personnel meet safety requirements.
• Monitor craft compliance with safety program and implement corrective measures.
