Job summary

MWH Constructors seeks an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support wastewater treatment plant construction projects in the Austin, TX area. You will lead and assist Trade Package Project Managers and Site Superintendents, coordinate procurement, manage change orders, and help maintain project schedules and document control.

The role requires a BS in engineering/construction management with 4+ years in heavy civil or building construction.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 4+ years in project engineering, site supervision, or trade package management in heavy civil/buildings.
• Familiar with contract scoping, drawings, specs, and basic construction principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Trade Package Project Managers and Site Superintendents.
• Support procurement of trade and equipment contracts.
• Coordinate change orders and evaluate proposed cost estimates.
• Assist in scheduling progress updates with trade contractors and schedule team.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and As-Built drawings with Project Engineering.
