Job summary

MWH is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Austin, Texas to support preconstruction and construction for municipal and industrial water projects. You will collaborate with project teams, manage documentation, and help drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence on critical facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of construction and design experience, proficiency with Procore and related PM tools, and strong communication within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in construction, design, and project management.
• Experience on heavy civil or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with project controls, drawings, specs and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support project management and supervision to ensure work is on schedule and compliant.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, package development, and material control.
• Review submittals, prepare reports, and manage project documentation.
• Prepare drawings, change orders, and work method statements.
• Assist with RFIs, permits, and interface with stakeholders.
• Maintain project management systems and process contractor claims.
