Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a seasoned Project Manager II to lead construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, timeliness, and strong financial performance. You will mentor teams, manage complex projects, and build client relationships through excellent service and communication.

Accepted Locations: United States. This role requires travel as needed to support projects across locations. The position offers a competitive base salary and Mortenson’s incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a construction-related field.
• 7+ years of construction management experience on large-scale projects ($20M+).
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting/forecasting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from design through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare proposals, support pursuits, and participate in contract negotiations.
• Develop and maintain accurate project financials including projections, billing, and cost control.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier selection, contract buyouts, and invoicing.
