Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a Brighton, MA on-site role to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery within budget.

The ideal candidate has a CM/CE/Architecture-related degree and 2+ years of commercial construction experience, with proficiency in drawing reviews, budgets, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/CE/Architecture or related field.
• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with commercial, multifamily, luxury residential, hospitality, institutional, or renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day management of construction projects
• Support projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and owners
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and other construction documents
• Assist with project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and contract administration
• Monitor project schedules and track key milestones
• Participate in project, owner, and subcontractor meetings
• Maintain meeting minutes and follow up on outstanding action items
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
• Help identify potential scheduling, budget, and constructability issues
• Assist with developing solutions to project challenges
• Maintain organized project documentation throughout construction
• Assist with owner communication and project reporting
• Support punch-list, turnover, and closeout activities
