Job summary

Jobot is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial construction projects in the Greater Boston area. You will work closely with Project Managers andSuperintendents, coordinating between office and field teams to keep projects moving on time and within scope.

You will assist with preconstruction through closeout, manage project documentation, RFIs, and submittals, and contribute to budgeting and scheduling efforts while developing your PM skills for future advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and vendors; strong documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore or similar CM software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day management of commercial construction projects.
• Support projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and other construction documents.
• Assist with project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Track project schedules and milestones; participate in meetings.
• Maintain organized project files and client communication.
