Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for multifamily construction in Indianapolis, IN. You will support the construction team from bidding to completion, working closely with the Project Manager on budgets, permits, and subcontractor relationships.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in construction, strong organizational skills, and experience with permits, job costing, and OSHA standards. A valid driver’s license is required to travel between sites.

• 2+ years of experience in new construction, renovation, or capital improvement projects.
• Experience pulling permits and working with building officials.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a solid understanding of job costing.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental safety standards.

Job Details

The Assistant Project Manager will support the construction team across multiple project sites, helping drive projects from the bidding phase through to completion. You will work closely with the Project Manager on budgets, permits, subcontractor relationships, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination.

What you will be doing:

• Managing subcontractor relationships and helping develop work scopes
• Assisting with budgets, bid processes, and construction document production
• Submitting permits and handling local and state licensing requirements
• Collecting and reviewing draw paperwork, invoices, lien waivers, and insurance documentsManaging RFIs, ASIs, and plan change communications with site staff and design teams
• Supporting multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in new construction, renovation, or capital improvement projects
