Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager in Chicago to lead multifamily, residential, and commercial construction efforts within a growing general contractor. You will oversee projects from planning through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and strict quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in construction, is proficient with PM software, and holds a related degree. Travel up to 25% is expected; PMP is a plus. Competitive salary and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in construction (must be a current APM or PM).
  • Experience within multifamily is a plus (or ground up projects over $10M).
  • Willingness to travel 25% or on an as needed basis if a project is out of state.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various construction sites.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.

  • Performing regular site inspections and coordinating necessary adjustments.
  • Resolving any arising problems or complaints related to the construction process.

As a reputable General Contractor, our company is involved in various construction projects, including ground-up, multifamily, commercial, commercial, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex construction projects.
