Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts in Rutland, MA seeks an Assistant Program Manager to supervise youth programs in multiple homes. The role involves coordinating therapeutic interventions, staffing, and program planning within a DBT-based model for youths aged 12-21 with behavioral disorders.

Eligible candidates have a HS diploma or higher, MAPS certification, and supervisory experience. The position offers a full-time schedule and benefits; orientation is provided in Rutland, MA.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor's degree with one year of congregate care experience required. Degrees in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
• Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programing for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
