Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts seeks an Assistant Program Manager to lead and support a pediatric behavioral health program in Rutland, MA. You will collaborate with leadership to foster a therapeutic and safe environment, implement individualized programming, and assist with staffing and program management while maintaining strong communication.

The role emphasizes youth advocacy, teamwork with nursing, education, and therapy staff, and shaping treatment plans with family involvement.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience or High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience required.
• MAPS certification within 6 months of employment is required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with planning and implementation of programming for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
