Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support youth in a compassionate, therapeutic setting in Fitchburg, MA. The role involves coordinating program activities, ensuring safe interventions, and collaborating with leadership to shape a positive program culture.

Requirements include MAPS certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months, 21+ and a valid driver\'s license, and relevant congregate care experience or degree.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor\'s degree with one year of congregate care experience required. Degrees in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• MAPS certification, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programming for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
