Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts in Rutland, MA is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support the South Wing Down Residential Program serving youth with complex disorders. You will ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate environment and collaborate with leadership to shape a positive program culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience required. Degrees in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programing for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
