Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts in Rutland, MA is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to supervise and support a residential program for youth with complex needs. The role includes coordinating care, implementing DBT-informed therapy, and working with clinicians to pursue treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience.
• Degrees in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to attend a 2-week paid orientation in Rutland, MA.

Responsibilities

• Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
• Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to create program vision and a positive working environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of programming for individuals.
• Assist with staffing and other aspects of program management as needed.
• Possess a high level of organizational and communication skills.
