Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to inspire the team, deliver excellent patient care, and drive meaningful business results on the practice floor. You will support the Practice Manager with daily operations, patient flow, and service execution, while developing leadership capability and readiness for expanded responsibility over time in a fast-paced optical environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership capability required; demonstrated in roles.
• 1–2 years of leadership, lead, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn across multiple practice positions to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations, patient flow, and service execution.
• Learn and assist across roles including front desk, optical sales, and technician support.
• Coach and onboard team members and communicate daily priorities.
• Partner with the Practice Manager and Optometrist to support exam flow.
• Escalate matters outside of role authority as appropriate.
