Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant Plaza Director to assist the Plaza Director in managing a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway. You will lead a team of associates and managers to deliver fast, friendly service while meeting financial targets.

The role requires ensuring food and beverage concepts align with brand standards, driving profitability, and developing a strong work culture with accountability.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, payroll/timekeeping software, inventory systems, and POS platforms.
• Able to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong cost control and quality standards experience.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and optimize profitability for a multi-million-dollar travel plaza.
• Direct associates and managers to hit sales, service speed, satisfaction, and food quality targets.
• Support strategic changes to maximize performance and profitability.
• Ensure all food/beverage concepts meet brand standards.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong plaza teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
