Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is hiring an Assistant Plaza Director to support the Plaza Director in running a multi-million-dollar travel plaza. You will lead a team, drive sales, service speed, and food quality while maintaining brand standards across diverse concepts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in restaurant or retail leadership, strong communication and cost-control skills, and a willingness to work a full on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of proven restaurant or retail leadership.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours per week incl. days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 20 pounds.
• Occasional travel to support other locations.

Responsabilités

• Assist Plaza Director in day-to-day operations and profitability.
• Lead daily activities of associates and plaza leadership to meet sales, speed, customer satisfaction, and food quality & safety targets.
• Monitor progress towards financial objectives and support strategic changes to maximize performance.
• Ensure all food/beverage concepts adhere to brand standards.
• Foster an engaging, learning-focused work culture and accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams across the plaza.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
