Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Operating Director (AOD), the Operating Director’s second-in-command, to lead in-office operations, scheduling oversight, staff development, and client care quality.

You will coach and support in-office staff, manage onboarding, conduct weekly check-ins, participate in on-call rotation, and ensure documentation and compliance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent acceptable.
• 2+ years of experience in management, leadership operations, or HR.
• Experience hiring, recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
• Leadership experience in healthcare or home care.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-office operations and scheduling oversight to ensure timely coverage.
• Coach and support staff; uphold Cornerstone’s standards, values and culture.
• Onboard and train new office managers; conduct weekly 1:1 check-ins.
• Handle on-call rotation and payroll notes; ensure proper documentation.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and staff oversight for growth.
• Oversee client care quality, scheduling operations, and client escalations.
